Seizures — dose-dependent (0.1% at ≤300mg/day; 0.4% at 400mg/day; significantly higher at higher doses)
Suicidal ideation (black box warning in <24 years)
Hypertension (can occur especially in patients on nicotine replacement)
Neuropsychiatric events (when used for smoking cessation — hostility, agitation, behavioral changes)
Angle-closure glaucoma
Severe hypersensitivity reactions
