Our Standards
Medical information is only useful if it is accurate, current, and honest about its limits. Here is how we earn — and keep — your trust.
The Foundation
Our monographs are built the way a clinician actually uses drug information — dosing, interactions, contraindications, and monitoring in one place. Practical, decision-oriented, and structured around real patient questions.
Every medicine and condition page is reviewed by our Medical Review Board — licensed pharmacists and physicians across pharmacology, internal medicine, oncology, psychiatry, and endocrinology.
We write from primary sources: FDA prescribing information and DailyMed labels, NIH/MedlinePlus, PubMed literature, and guidance from the CDC, WHO, and NICE. Every page links its sources so you can verify them.
Pages carry a visible review date and a next-review date. We publish our editorial, corrections, and AI-use policies, and we do not invent named authors or fake credentials to look more authoritative than we are.
In Practice
Primary references are linked on every clinical page — not buried, not paraphrased away.
Each page shows when it was last medically reviewed and when it is next scheduled for review.
Found an error? Tell us. We investigate promptly and document material corrections.
How we use automation, how we handle conflicts of interest, and how advertising stays separate from content.
Current Status
Content is also re-reviewed ahead of schedule whenever the FDA issues a new label, safety communication, or recall, or when major clinical guidelines change.
