Our Goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: as we add features and content, we test against these standards and fix issues we find.
What We Do
Pages use proper headings, landmarks, lists, and description lists so assistive technology can navigate content in a logical order.
Interactive elements — search, menus, tools, and links — are reachable and operable with a keyboard alone, with visible focus states.
Text and essential UI target WCAG AA contrast ratios, and information is never conveyed by color alone.
Meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
Content reflows and remains readable at 200% zoom and on small screens, without loss of function.
Clinical content is written as plainly as the subject allows, with terms explained and defined where possible.
