AAdult Dosing

ED (on-demand): 10mg taken before sexual activity; may increase to 20mg or decrease to 5mg; max once per 36 hours; ED (daily): 2.5mg once daily; may increase to 5mg once daily; BPH (daily): 5mg once daily (same time each day); ED + BPH (daily): 5mg once daily; Pulmonary arterial hypertension (Adcirca): 40mg (two 20mg tablets) once daily

PPediatric Dosing

PAH in pediatric patients: specialist dosing only.

RRenal Dose Adjustment

CrCl 31–50 mL/min: max 5mg once daily for ED; CrCl <30 mL/min: max 5mg every 72 hours (on-demand) or not recommended daily. PAH: avoid with severe renal impairment.

HHepatic Dose Adjustment

Child-Pugh A/B: max 10mg once daily on-demand for ED. Child-Pugh C: not recommended.

General Dosing Tips

Missed dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double up doses.

Overdose: If you suspect an overdose, contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or call 911 immediately.

Storage: Store at room temperature (59–77°F / 15–25°C), away from moisture and heat, unless otherwise specified by your pharmacist.
