AAdult Dosing

MDD (adults): 10mg once daily; may increase to 20mg after at least 1 week; GAD (adults): 10mg once daily; may increase to 20mg; Adolescents 12–17 (MDD): 10mg once daily; may increase to 20mg after 3 weeks; Elderly (≥65 years): 10mg once daily; 20mg dose not recommended in elderly

PPediatric Dosing

FDA approved for MDD in adolescents 12–17 years: 10mg once daily.

RRenal Dose Adjustment

No dose adjustment needed for mild to moderate renal impairment. Caution in severe impairment.

HHepatic Dose Adjustment

Maximum recommended dose is 10mg once daily in patients with hepatic impairment.

General Dosing Tips

Missed dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double up doses.

Overdose: If you suspect an overdose, contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or call 911 immediately.

Storage: Store at room temperature (59–77°F / 15–25°C), away from moisture and heat, unless otherwise specified by your pharmacist.
