Hypertension: 5mg once daily initially; titrate to 10mg once daily if needed (over 7–14 days); Angina: 5–10mg once daily; Small/fragile/elderly patients or with hepatic impairment (HTN): 2.5mg once daily
Hypertension (6–17 years): 2.5–5mg once daily. Not approved for angina in children.
No adjustment needed. Amlodipine is not removed by hemodialysis.
Start at 2.5mg in hepatic impairment; titrate cautiously.
