Visual disturbances — blue tinge, blurred vision, light sensitivity (at 100mg: 11%)
Dizziness (2%)
Severe hypotension with nitrates (contraindicated combination — potentially fatal)
Priapism (prolonged erection >4 hours — urological emergency, can cause permanent erectile dysfunction)
Sudden hearing loss (rare but documented — discontinue immediately)
Non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) — rare, sudden vision loss
Severe skin reactions
MI, stroke, sudden cardiac death (most cases had pre-existing cardiovascular risk)
