AAdult Dosing

Acute: 75 mg orally as needed, may repeat after 2 hours (maximum 150 mg per day); Prevention: 75 mg daily

PPediatric Dosing

Age 6-17: 75 mg orally for acute migraine (not for prevention)

RRenal Dose Adjustment

Severe renal impairment: use with caution

HHepatic Dose Adjustment

Severe hepatic impairment: avoid

General Dosing Tips

Missed dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double up doses.

Overdose: If you suspect an overdose, contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or call 911 immediately.

Storage: Store at room temperature (59–77°F / 15–25°C), away from moisture and heat, unless otherwise specified by your pharmacist.
