Signs/symptoms of hyperthyroidism if overdosed: palpitations, tachycardia, heat intolerance
Weight loss, increased appetite
Nervousness, anxiety, irritability
Insomnia
Diarrhea, vomiting (signs of excess)
Atrial fibrillation (especially in elderly)
Angina, myocardial infarction (in patients with coronary artery disease)
Bone density loss with long-term over-replacement or TSH suppression
Adrenal crisis in patients with undiagnosed adrenal insufficiency (treat adrenals first)
Hypersensitivity reactions (to dye in colored tablets)
Pseudotumor cerebri in children (rare)
Hair loss (usually transient, in first few months)
